About Me:
I am a shy 16-year-old with affinity for writing, reading, singing/playing piano/playing organ, baking, learning foreign languages and Church history, and sleeping. For my stories, characters come first—long before anything is written. Plot is more of a vehicle through which to have the world meet my characters than anything terribly important. Not to say plot is useless, of course. Where would my poor characters be without a storyline to live in?

My Story:
Book Title: [as yet undetermined]
Genre: Fantasy, technically. No mythical creatures or magical powers though.
Summary: Headstrong princess Helena vehemently opposes having an arranged marriage, even though her father thinks it best, especially during war-time. Her plans for bringing the king over to her side are laid aside when she is kidnapped by members of the neighboring kingdom and taken to the castle of her country's enemy, King Peioron. She unwillingly associates with the inhabitants of the castle, including the cynical Prince Conan, and Lord Rackleburth, who is the real ruler of the country. Matters seem as worse as they can be until Conan and Helena receive a letter written by their fathers, intimating a condition for peace between the nations. Now Helena has a precarious dilemma, having to choose between personal liberty and international welfare.

My Novel for NaNoWriMo:
Sebastian, a rich only child who lives with his cousin, is painfully shy and somewhat nerdy. When a new girl moves in next door, she helps him come out of his shell, but with dire consequences. Meanwhile Sebastian's cousin, Antonio, discovers a secret his parents have kept since his birth, and their good friend goes missing. Sebastian struggles with his inner search for confidence while he and his friends find out that several strange events may just be related.
